What do I need to bring to my appointment?
Do I need a referral?
Are endovenous procedures covered by insurance?
How quickly can I return to normal activities after an endovascular procedure?
Why do I have to have screening tests done on a routine basis?
Like mammography, which has been shown to decrease death from breast cancer, routine vascular screening has been shown to prevent death from aneurysm rupture, strokes, and loss of limbs. This is particularly important for the patients who have already had a history of cardiac or peripheral vascular disease. Depending on the problem, the frequency of screening tests is from 1 to 5 years.
How do I prevent my particular vascular problem from reoccurring again?
What do I do after the procedure?
